Sukhino Bhavantu:Happy and Free
Baja Retreat
with Alina, Anna & Mary
Mon 3/8-Sun 3/15, 2027
Baja Serenity Resort, Cabo Pulmo
Celebrate our wish for all beings to be happy and free!
Travel with us to Cabo Pulmo in Baja California Sur, home to one of the only remaining living coral reefs in the Americas, a UNESCO world heritage site and model for conservation success and biodiversity.
Join Alina, Mary and Anna at Baja Serenity, a peaceful beachfront resort in a National Park where the desert meets the sea. Enjoy spacious villas, ocean views, and the tranquility of one of Mexico’s most stunning marine sanctuaries. Situated on the Sea of Cortez, these waters are a little calmer and quieter, and Jacques Cousteau once called them “the aquarium of the world.” People come from all over the world to enjoy snorkeling and diving, and the region is a model in locally driven and sustainable tourism. A short walk to the small town of Cabo Pulmo, you’ll be able to enjoy an easy trip into a small town, but you may find that you have everything you need staying on property, resting, and taking in the stunning surrounding with your community.
We’ll focus our practices on our wish for freedom and liberation for all beings - celebrating our divine right to be alive and thrive, as we create community, celebrate the power of the waters, eat farm-to-table (and sea to table!) food, swim, lounge, and RELAX!

About your hosts…
Anna Argeropoulos is the founder of The Moving Galaxy, a yoga and mindful movement space located in Milwaukee, WI. A practitioner of yoga since she was 8 years old, and a full-time yoga teacher for 20 years, Anna fell in love with the devotional and ritual practices of yoga at Laughing Lotus Yoga in New York City and was certified to teach in 2006 under the direction of Jasmine Tarkeshi and Dana Flynn. Anna is passionate about continuing her own movement education, and has trained and mentored hundreds of yoga teachers through her teacher training programs. Anna likes to call her classes multi-dimensional: beyond the yoga poses, her classes include exploration of philosophy, chanting, breathwork, and dynamic, creative meditative movement, as well as good playlists.
Alina Capanna is a 500-hour RYT. My teaching places an emphasis on playful exploration, and I encourage students to delight in the moments of messiness and wobbles. The magic is in the process!
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me getting my hands dirty in the garden, reading, or cooking up something spicy.
Mary Steskal | Yoga fell into Mary’s (she/her) sphere when she was living in Northern California. The practice found her during a time that she needed it most (thanks to a friend inviting her to a class), and after continuing to show up over and over again, it reminded her of her own strength and capability to change her life. She felt the potent healing that this sacred practice offers first hand, and she knew that one day she’d share it with others.
In 2021, she received her 200-hour certification and began teaching publicly, but soon realized there was SO MUCH MORE to learn! She completed a restorative yoga training in 2022, and finished her 300-hour certification in 2024. In 2025, Mary was fortunate enough to be asked by Anna to help co-lead The Moving Galaxy’s 200-hour teacher training (it was a resounding “yes”)! Teaching has been Mary’s full-time “work” since around 2023, and she couldn’t imagine her life any other way.
Mary creates classes that are accessible to all levels by breaking down complex shapes in simple ways, teaching to yoga props, and offering options. She pours her heart into deepening her understanding of not just asana (postures), but also, yogic philosophy and mantra. Mary aims to create a grounded, open, and mindful state, so that students can enter into the deeper layers of the Self, exploring, uncovering, learning, unlearning, and integrating.
May this practice lead us toward peace, acceptance and awakening.
Hari OM.
