I found yoga, or rather it found me in my Senior year of high-school. Shout out to my cool gym teacher! Yoga offers a safe space for me to land just where I am, not asking to change but to notice and make adjustments as I go. Yoga has taught me of the power of community, connection, and intention- a multifaceted practice. A nod to my midwest, Christian upbringing- I found yoga to be “grown up Amalie’s Bible study”. I graduated from Moving Galaxy Yoga teacher training in the spring of 2025. My yoga classes center around connecting with yourselves in accessible and fun ways-to move from a sense of empowerment- be kinder to yourself and the world around you.
